Quick and Easy beignet Recipe

So Resa wanted beignets and I had a brilliant idea – try frying pillsbury crescent rolls to see what happens (to be honest I wasn’t really in the mood to roll dough out for beignets)

OMG – these were delicious. The plate was gone in 2 to 3 minutes flat.

They were so light and fluffy.

All I did was cut the crescent rolls in various shapes and fry them. Top with powdered sugar
