This recipe works well as a filler for a homemade gift basket. One year I did the cheese balls, a box of “fancy” crackers and a bottle of wine for friends. This went over well.
1 – 8 ounce package cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded colby cheese (shredded gouda or gruyere cheese can also be used)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 dash worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning
Soften the cheese to room temperature. Place everything in a large bowl and mix until well incorporated.
Chill. Once thoroughly chilled form in a ball (can also be formed into smaller balls for gifts)
You can also roll the cheese balls in chopped walnuts or almonds if you like as well.
Wrap in wax paper or cling wrap and store in refrigerator. Serve with crackers
