Cream sugar and butter. Add flour and eggs. Add buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.

I had to adjust the original recipe to one that I liked – so this one includes my variations but it is really yummy. My husband who isn’t a big sweet eater even likes this one.
