Beef and Mac Casserole Recipe

This is another recipe my grandmother would make that I loved. (Of course my grandmother didn’t have Beazell’s but I am sure if she did she would have gladly used it)

1 pound ground meat

1 Tablespoon catsup

Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning

5 oz. elbow macaroni cooked and drained

1 onion

2 cans canned tomatoes

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup grated cheese (My grandmother always used cracker barrel cheddar cheese or the hoop cheddar cheese that has the wax rind still on it. I prefer to use that as it brings back the childhood memories but you can also use the cheese of your choice)

Brown ground meat seasoned with Beazell’s. Add chopped onion, tomatoes, catsup, and soup. Simmer until tender. (Make sure to taste test and season as needed.) Add cooked macaroni to meat mixture and stir well. Pur into casserole dish and top with grated cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees F until bubbly (about 30 minutes)
