Stopped by Waffle House to grab some coffee and breakfast. Yummm
A big shout out to 104.9 and the awesome music they are playing this morning.
It is making the long drive to Baton Rouge much more enjoyable this morning.
Brown 1 package Jimmy Dean Sausage
Once sausage is browned add 1/2 cup all purpose flour (if there is excessive grease drain some off – you will need some grease to mix with flour for a roux).
Incorporate flour and sausage. Add 2 cups milk. Stir well until mixture is well incorporated.
Cook over medium heat. Watch closely. If too thick add more milk.
Season with Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning to taste
Serve over hot biscuits
I am totally addicted to this smoked turkey sandwich.
Cut open one croissant.
Spread no sugar added apricot spread (can be found at Rouse’s supermarket as well as Whole Foods) on croissant.
Add smoked turkey and Brie.
Place on sandwich/panini press and let Brie melt.
“The Hideaway” and “The Traveler” are sure to keep you in suspense with each turn of the page. What twisted tortures will these serial killers use on their victims? Can anyone stop these ellusive killers?
“Dr. Frankenstein” is a medical malpractice thriller that will have you wondering which experiment he will perform next on a patient.
“Above Suspicion” is for those suspense thriller lovers that want to be kept on the edge of their seat but without all the gory details of the murder. Step into the mind of the killer as he searches for the perfect and obedient wife.
In “Deadly Seduction” men are being found dead in their hotel room. Detective Brett Landry fears that they are dealing with a female serial killer, one who knows how to cover her tracks very well. Could the killer be the very seductive reporter who seems to show up at all the crime scenes?
“Horror In The Night” (available on eBook only) is for those who love gore and suspense. Greg Ferris loves to scare people that is why his Haunted House is so popular. Critics and fans all wonder how he gets his props to look so likelike. Ferris is always careful to find his “props” far from home. That is until he falls in love. He can’t seem to stay away from his new love but he is on a deadline and the new Haunted House will be opening soon. “House of Wax” inspired me to write this book.
“Echoes on the Bayou” and “Seven Deadly Sins” involve one of my favorite characters to date, Detective Jo Melancon. Follow her and Detective Chad Picou as they search the streets of Bear Corner, Louisiana for the killer.
The books are available in paperback and eBook on Kindle, Nook, iBook, smashwords and many more iReaders.

As always I love to hear what you think of my books. Thanks for all the support.
So I stopped by and picked up a Shrimp PoBoy at Landry’s Seafood. It so hit the spot.
As a side to the poboy there was a bag of fresh potato chips. OMG if you ever go to this restaurant it is a must try.
So Mat had asked for a Dodge Diesel for his anniversary. I had already started working on his gift.
It came out gorgeous. David at Jewelry Design and Repair did a fabulous job in helping to create this Masterpiece.
This ring also signifies his life’s journey. I tool several of the rings he no longer wears and melted down. This included his class ring, his Uncle Doo’s wedding and black onyx ring, my original wedding band, and one of the first rings I purchased him after we were married.

So Mat and I came up with this recipe when we had a LOT of leftover salmon.
8 oz smoked salmon, chopped
1/3 cup mayo
2 T chopped parsley
2 teaspoons lemon juice
Beazell’s Cajun Seasoning
1/3 cup shredded cheddar cheee
Mix ingredients together and chill. Serve with crackers or garlic rounds
(Another variation is to add cream cheese instead of mayo. I personally am not a fan of mayo and like it better with cream cheese.)
